Thanks to HFX, Mike Has Reduced His Pain Medication Intake

Since getting his HFX implant Mike’s world has expanded from a painful existence on his living room floor to riding his Harley through nine states and flying a plane.

For almost two years, Mike lived, ate, and slept – when he was able to fall asleep – on a pad on his living room floor because it was the only place where he was even remotely comfortable.

Sitting, standing, riding in a car, lying in bed – all were excruciating for him. “I would lie on my stomach and eat from a plate on the floor,” Mike recalled.

“There are no words to describe it – just lots of tears and extreme gratitude.”

“It was a very dark existence for me with no quality of life. I thought I would be spending the rest of my life on that floor.”

Mike tried numerous pain-reducing medications from over-the-counter medications to opioids but there were just too many unpleasant side effects. Finally, Dr. Dawood Sayed recommended an HFX trial.

On the sixth night of the trial, Mike slept through the night for the first time in 10 years and within seven months of getting his permanent HFX Mike’s pain was all but gone.

“There are no words to describe it – just lots of tears and extreme gratitude,” Mike said.
