Traditional Spinal Cord Stimulation Failed to Bring Tammy Relief
Tammy wasn’t living much of a life during the 6 years of chronic pain she experienced before HFX. “I was in such pain that I didn’t want to move or go outside,” she recalled.
“Standing at the sink to do dishes was an impossible task. In fact, I felt lucky if I could lie down on the couch and get back up without pain.”
She tried injections and even a traditional spinal cord stimulation trial, but without lasting pain relief.
In August 2018, Tammy took Dr. Tristan Weaver’s recommendation to do an HFX trial and received her implant less than a month later.
With her pain now under control consistently at a 60% pain reduction, Tammy is able to go camping and enjoy playing with her grandkids. “I am so thankful to have the active part of my life back,” she said.

“I am so thankful to have the active part of my life back,” she said. “My goal was just to reduce a small portion of my everyday pain, and this has been life-changing where I am at today”.
